With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, I am the heart and soul behind Cytherea Weddings. My journey into the world of weddings was deeply rooted in my childhood adventures, where my mom introduced me to the diverse islands of Greece, igniting a passion for aesthetics and style.

My summers in Italy with my dad were filled with road trips through Tuscany, museum explorations, and immersing myself in the rich cultural tapestry that Italy offered. After studying culinary arts and F&B Management, my path led me to one of Greece's most prestigious hotels, the Grande Bretagne. In the events department for more than 3 years, I organized splendid weddings and luxury events, garnering invaluable experience.

Eager to create something of my own, I ventured into entrepreneurship and soon found my true calling in the wedding industry. My love for Kythira blossomed through my best friend, a native of the island. Frequent visits revealed its beauty, simplicity, and cultural richness. In 2021, during a visit, I fell completely in love with Kythira, a love that led me to relocate from Athens and make it my permanent home.

As fate would have it, I not only found the love of my life on this magnificent island but also started a family. From the first moment, I sensed that Kythira, with its undiscovered charm, was the perfect setting for weddings. The realization struck me when I encountered people from Australia, returning to the island of their ancestors, seeking to tie the knot in the same church or locale. It became my mission to assist these couples in crafting the perfect wedding, connecting them to their roots and creating new memories.

And so, Cytherea Weddings was born – a labor of love, commitment, and a desire to make dreams come true. Based in Kythira, my passion is to weave together the love stories of couples, creating unforgettable moments against the backdrop of this enchanting Greek island.
